I have been a professional photographer in Toyko for 7 years and I can’t wait to meet you! I am a certified and award-winning photographer who has worked with over 200 international and domestic companies in Japan!

I started my portrait and photographer business because I wanted to create something very special as a gift for people to enjoy. Fun fact, 90% of my clients hate being photographed! The anticipation of seeing this mindset change from start to finish is exhilarating!

Why ?

I love photography furisode photo sessions for young newly minted adults bright-eyed and curious about the world in front of them. Furisode sessions taken around Seijin no Hi, or Coming of Age Day, are like an extra graduation celebration. Families get to take part in either a family tradition or a new adventure as international residents in Japan.

Having photographed some of these young adults when they were in their Shichi-go-san kimonos over a decade prior, and their Omiyamairi kimonos during their first 100 days of life, I, too, share an excitement to see them start their journey.

  • We want this experience to be 100% unique and authentic to you and your family. We find the more care and attention we have to offer each of our young adults and their significant milestones, the better their experience and outcome will be. We find giving our time and resources in capturing this milestone to 5 young adults is achievable for our team.

    We understand there are international students who may be out of the country during this time as long as the booking is made in January, we are happy to select a date at a time they would be in Japan.

  • For Families Without Kimonos and Wish to Borrow One or Have One Sent to the SessionIf you are also without a kimono, our stylist is a trained kimono stylist who can not only help you with your kimono but also share tips on how to pose in your kimono.

    For Families Who Wish to Rent a Kimono
    We have several brick-and-mortar kimono rental shops we can recommend to you. We can meet you at the shop in case you require any assistance with communication.

    For Families with Kimonos
    For families who wish to take over kimono purchasing, We’re happy to allow wait at the location of choice for our photo session.

  • The photo session can be anywhere in the Kanto area and one of these places:

    -Our Photo Studio
    -Your Home
    - A Local Shrine
    -An Accessible Location Significant to You

  • Our booking fee is ¥50,000 and includes our fabulous perks below (total value is over ¥85,000).

    As one of our 5 young Seijin no Hi participants, you will receive:

    ● CONSULTATION - To discuss how YOU want to be photographed.

    ● HAIR & MAKE-UP SESSION - For those who would like to have makeup styling for their session, we offer complimentary from our stylist!

    ● HELP WITH OBTAINING A KIMONO - If you’re a family that wishes to rent or

    ● PHOTO SESSION - This session will be a 90-minute session that can be a solo or full family session.

    ● IMAGE REVEAL SESSION - Where you see your images at the studio & select your gifted image/order your favorites 10 days after your photo shoot.

    ● PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE - You will receive one luxury fine art matted portrait with a matching high-res digital image (a ¥55,000 value). Additional photographs and products are available for purchase.

    *Booking fee to be used toward album and wall art.
